Pawnshop employee hurt, P9 million in jewelry taken in Cagayan De Oro heist
By GMA Integrated News
An employee was wounded and P9 million worth of jewelry was taken after armed and masked robbers swooped down on a pawnshop in Cagayan de Oro City on Wednesday morning.
According to Jonathan Andal's report on "Saksi," the pawnshop on J.R. Borja Street had no security guard.
The guards at a nearby establishment weren't able to match the weapons of the suspects.
A pawnshop staff was hit on the stomach after two of the suspects shot the padlock on the establishment's door.
Police said the pawnshop operations may have been closely monitored before the robbery. —NB, GMA Integrated News
