Work in several courts in Luzon still suspended due to Egay


Several courts continued to suspend work on Wednesday, July 26 due to Typhoon Egay (international name: Doksuri).

According to the Supreme Court, court work is suspended in the following:

  • Courts in the Province of La Union
  • Aparri, Cagayan Regional Trial Courts (RTCs) and municipal trial courts (MTCs)
  • Dagupan City Regional Trial Court, all first-level courts under its jurisdiction, and the Justice Hall Dagupan City
  • Gapan City RTC and MTC; MTC Cabiao, Jaen, San Leonardo, Penaranda ang Gen. Tinio; Municipal Circruit Trial Court (MCTC) San Isidro-San Antonio
  • All courts in La Trinidad, Benguet
  • All courts in the Province of Pangasinan
  • All offices housed at the Bulwagan ng Katarungan in Burgos, Pangasinan
  • All courts in Baguio City
  • RTC and MCTC Cordon-Dinapigue and MCTC Ramon-San Isidro, Isabela
  • Hall of Justice of Lingayen, Pangasinan
  • Aparri-Calayan, Cagayan MCTC

PAGASA earlier said that Signal No. 4 remains over parts of Cagayan, Apayao, and Ilocos Norte due to Egay. It said the typhoon is wobbling over the waters near Fuga Island in Aparri, Cagayan.

According to the weather bureau, a landfall over northwestern Cagayan is not ruled out.
