Graduating hospitality management student found dead in rice paddy

A 22-year-old graduating college student was found dead in a rice field in Anda, Pangasinan.

According to Oscar Oida's report on "Saksi," the victim was identified as Lowilyn Caniedo, a hospitality management senior in Pangasinan.

The victim was found in a prone position.

She had a wound on her head and was naked from waist down.

Investigation showed that the victim told her mother at 8 p.m. on July 20 that she was going to a friend's house.

The authorities are stol investigating the cause of her death and who she was with last.

They are not discounting the possibility that the victim was raped.

Her loved ones opted not to comment on the incident. —NB, GMA Integrated News
