Flood-hit Kabacan, Cotabato placed under state of calamity

The Kabacan town in Cotabato was placed under a state of calamity due to widespread floods brought about by inclement weather.

According to a report on BaliTanghali Monday, the Sangguniang Bayan approved the declaration last Friday following the deep floods that marred the ten barangays in the municipality

The declaration of a state of calamity will allow the utilization of the town’s quick response fund, the report added.
