‘Policeman’ puts chili on 17-year-old complainant’s privates
Instead of helping a 17-year-old boy who sought assistance, a supposed policeman reportedly put chili on the victim's genitals in Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental.
According to the report on "Saksi" of GMA Regional TV One Mindanao's Jandi Esteban, the victim went to a checkpoint in Sitio Pamongot in Barangay Talagunton to report his father who was about to hit him.
The father was reportedly drunk when the incident happened.
The boy said he was led to a room and the light was turned off. It was there that chili was placed on his privates.
The suspect reportedly threatened to put more.
The victim pleaded for him to stop.
He was then released and he said he had to wash at a nearby water pump because it was burning hot.
The victim's grandmother is asking for help so that they could identify the perpetrator.
The boy failed to get the name of the suspect but said he could identify him if he would again see him.
They have filed a complaint before the women and children's protection desk of the PNP.
The victim is under the custody of the municipal social welfare and development office.
"Iniimbestigahan na natin ito upang malaman kung totoong pulis nga ba ang gumawa o kung totoo bang nangyari yun sa bata. Kung totoo man, aalamin natin kung sinong pulis at kakasuhan natin," said Police Capt. Arvin Ongcay, the chief of the Don Marcelino Municipal Police.
Asked why the suspect did what he did to the boy, the grandmother said, "Sinusuway daw ang utos ng ama maam at ang naglagay ng sili may tattoo raw sa dibdib." —NB, GMA Integrated News
