Woman stabbed repeatedly, found dead in Zamboanga del Sur lot

The body of a 30-year-old woman was found with some 11 stab wounds at a vacant lot in Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur.

According to Krissa Dapitan's report on GMA Regional TV One Mindanao, the victim was identified as Jenalyn Candao of Zamboanga Sibugay.

According to investigator Police Staff Sergeant Xandro Jaca, a man on his way to a creek discovered the body.

The victim had an estimated 11 stab wounds on different parts of her body.

Recovered from the scene were an eco bag, some cash, and a bus ticket.

Investigation showed that the victim was caught on a bus' dashcam walking in Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur on June 9.

She was said to have boarded a bus in Pagadian City and alighted in Dumalinao.

Her body was found the following day.
