Paolo Duterte offers P1 million reward for info on Davao City architect's slay

Davao City Representative Paolo Duterte on Monday offered a P1 million reward for anybody who could provide information on the perpetrators behind the killing of a Davao City lady architect.

The corpse of 28-year-old Vlanche Marie Bragas was found in an open canal at a banana plantation in Barangay Dacudao in Calinan, Davao City last May 17.

"As we, the Davaoeños, continue to seek justice for Miss Bragas, we offer a P1 million reward to anyone who can tell us the whereabouts of the suspect/s," Duterte said in a statement.

Duterte also expressed condolences to the bereaved family.

"Ms. Vlanche Marie Bragas is an ordinary Davaoeña who strives hard every day for her future and her family. I together with the Bragas family mourn her death," he added.

Bragas was reported missing around 12:30 a.m. on May 17. She was last seen riding a yellow electric tri-wheeler vehicle near Crossing Fausta in Calinan. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
