Computer science student stabbed to death at Dasmariñas, Cavite dorm

A 24-year-old computer science student was stabbed to death at her dormitory in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

According to Dano Tingcungco’s report on “24 Oras”, Queen Leanne Daguinsin was found dead inside her room in Barangay Santa Fe at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Based on the police investigation, Daguinsin suffered 14 stab wounds in different parts of her body.

The caretaker said some of Daguinsin’s classmates went to the dormitory to check on her because she did not attend classes.

When they looked into her window, they saw her and blood on her leg.

CCTV footage showed a man leaving the room of the student. He was wearing a blue shirt, black cap, and face mask.

He was holding unidentified objects in both his hands.

Police said there was no indication that the suspect raped the victim based on processing the crime scene. —Richa Noriega/NB, GMA Integrated News
