Two-year-old dies after getting hit by van driven by uncle

A two-year-old child in Vintar, Ilocos Norte died after he was accidentally hit by a van driven by his own uncle.

According to a report on “State of the Nation” on Wednesday, initial investigation showed the victim and his family came from Isabela to attend a funeral in the town.

Upon their arrival, the child went in front of the van to pee. His uncle who drove the vehicle did not see him when he moved the van forward.

The victim’s family decided not to file a case against the driver. —Sundy Locus/NB, GMA Integrated News
