Grade 9 student dies after bike falls off cliff in Abra

A Grade 9 student was dead after the bicycle he was riding fell off a cliff in Bangued, Abra.

According to a report on “State of the Nation” on Monday, an initial investigation showed the 14-year-old victim overshoot along the sharp curve of the road causing him to fall off a ten-meter-deep cliff.

He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

The bike has a broken brake, the victim’s cousin and grandfather said, adding this may have caused the incident. —Sundy Locus/NB, GMA Integrated News
