Ex-cop accused in Dacer-Corbito slay case nabbed in Bulacan

A former policeman has been arrested in a joint operation by several units of the Philippine National Police in connection with the Dacer-Corbito double murder case.

According to a report by the NCRPO, the 57-year-old accused who's considered a national level most wanted person had a warrant for his arrest dated May 21, 2001.

A report on Unang Balita on Thursday identified the suspect as former SPO1 William Reed III. He has yet to comment about his arrest and the accusation against him.

The NCRPO said Reed was arrested on Sunday afternoon at Barangay Poblacion in Pulilan, Bulacan.

The former policeman was one of the accused in the killing of PR man Salvador Dacer and driver Emmanuel Corbito on November 24, 2000. -- Sherylin Untalan/NB/KBK, GMA Integrated News
