Bicol region battered by flooding, landslides

Residents were affected by the flooding and landslides in some parts of the Bicol region.

According to a "24 Oras," report, flash floods submerged homes in Bato, Catanduanes, where four barangays were affected.

Some roads were also covered in thick mud that residents worked together to clear. Landslides were also recorded in other areas with several heads of livestock killed.

Classes were meanwhile suspended at all levels in several towns due to bad weather.

Meanwhile, in San Jose, Camarines Sur, eleven individuals were rescued from their sunken boat.
