Suspected dog meat trader nabbed in Bulacan; 3 dogs rescued

A man suspected to be involved in the dog meat trade was arrested in an entrapment operation in San Rafael, Bulacan, according to a report on "Saksi" on Thursday.

Operatives were able to rescue three dogs that were found inside sacks. The dogs were reported to be very weak.

The suspect said that someone just asked him to sell the dogs.

He is facing charges related to violation of provisions of the Animal Welfare Act. -- BAP, GMA Integrated News
