BARMM Indigenous affairs head killed in Cotabato ambush

The head of the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples Affairs (MIPA) ng Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) was shot dead in Cotabato City on Tuesday afternoon, according to a report on "Saksi."

Jocelyn Samar Palao was shot and killed by still unknown assailants around 5 p.m.

Palao, who was sitting at the back of the mini van, and two companions were on their way home when the suspects open fired at their vehicle. -- BAP, GMA Integrated News
