1 person killed, 10 others wounded in Sultan Kudarat blast

One person was killed while 10 others were wounded in an explosion inside a passenger bus in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat on Sunday morning.

According to a GMA Regional TV One Mindanao Facebook post, the blast was suspected to be caused by an improvised explosive device (IED).

Authorities said that the explosion took place at Park Yellow Bell in Barangay New Isabela around 11 a.m.

The bus came from Kidapawan City and was on its way to the Tacurong Public Terminal when the incident occurred.

In a separate report by Carlo Mateo on Super Radyo dzBB, four of those who were caught in the blast were rushed to the St. Louis Hospital.

Police immediately cordoned off the blast area to assess the situation.
