Severe rains cause massive floods in parts of Visayas, Mindanao

Severe rains have caused massive flooding in several parts of Visayas and Mindanao, according to a “24 Oras” report on Wednesday.

Several residents were evacuated as their houses were submerged in flood waters in Guihulngan, Negros Oriental. Meanwhile, classes in the area were suspended after the river overflowed.

Classes were also canceled in Tagbilaran City, Bohol due to heavy rains.

Continuous downpour also left roads in Cebu flooded.

Parts of Panacan Public Cemetery in Davao City were also submerged into water.

The weather bureau PAGASA said the shear line caused heavy rains in parts of Visayas and Mindanao.
