Church, some houses damaged after Abra quake
Portions of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente church in La Paz, Abra was damaged after a magnitude 6.4 earthquake hit Lagayan, Abra late Tuesday evening, GMA Regional TV News "One Central Luzon" reported.
The photos from IFI, La Paz, Abra also showed large cracks on walls and ceilings of the church building.
In a separate post, a video showed the damaged ceramic items inside a house located in Barangay Madamba, Dingras in Ilocos Norte.
Local government officials posted warnings, advisory in social media as well as emergency contact numbers for those who were affected by the quake.
These LGUs include Baguio City, Abra province, Ilocos Norte, Isabela, and Pangasinan.
Tuguegarao Mayor Maila Ting Que posted a video as she went around the city to conduct an initial inspection.
In Batac, Ilocos Norte the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that Barani to Ben-agan Bridge is unpassable.
The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) in Ilocos Sur received a message from a concerned Citizen requesting assistance for the injured schoolmates in the women's dorm of the University of Northern Philippines. The PDRRMO Response Team immediately responded and rendered first aid to the injured victims. -- BAP, GMA News
