Actor Dindo Arroyo nabbed on cybercrime charges

Authorities arrested actor and television personality Dindo Arroyo on cybercrime charges in Biñan, Laguna on Tuesday.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) said it nabbed Dindo Arroyo, Conrado Manuel Ambrosio II in real life, pursuant to a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 101 in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.

Arroyo is facing two counts of alleged violation of Republic Act No. 10175 or Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 with a recommended bail of P10,000 per case.

He was brought to a Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) facility in Biñan.

GMA News Online sought Arroyo's  comment but he has yet to respond as of this posting.—Richa Noriega/AOL, GMA News
