Police charge 7 suspects for the abduction, killing of 25-year-old man in Batangas
The Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) have filed complaints of kidnapping and homicide against seven suspects in the abduction and killing of 25-year-old Eugene del Rosario, according to a report by Andrew Bernardo on GMA Regional TV "Balitang Southern Tagalog."
Del Rosario is the man abducted by several individuals from a gasoline station in Taal, Batangas last Aug. 16, 2022.
He was found lifeless on one side of the highway in Sariaya, Quezon last Aug. 18, 2022.
The PNP said the cases against the suspects were filed at the Office of the Prosecutor in Batangas City yesterday.
The basis of the cases is the narrative of the witness and relative of the victim to identify the suspects.
One of the suspects, the police said, has been located in Tondo, Manila.
"Itong mga impormasyon na nakuha natin ay mismong galing sa kaniyang pamilya, na ito po siya'y miyembro ng bukas-kotse gang," said Police Lieutenant Colonel Jezreel Calderon, Deputy Provincial Director for Operation, Batangas PPO.
(The information that we gathered came from the victim's family, that he is a member of the bukas-kotse gang.)
The police declined to provide more details about the case as they are still pursuing six suspects.
However, the investigation is still ongoing, as well as the identification of the other suspects.
