DepEd probes alleged sexual harassment in Cavite school

The Department of Education (DepEd) is investigating an alleged sexual harassment that took place in a school in Bacoor, Cavite, Unang Balita reported on Tuesday.

"The allegations of sexual harassment in Bacoor National High School is very disturbing news and we are taking this very seriously," said DepEd spokesperson Michael Poa.

The School Divisions Office learned of the incident, which reportedly involved six teachers, last week.

"There were six teachers mentioned in the posts. Said teachers were not given any teaching load pending initial investigation on the matter," Poa said.

"We have zero-tolerance for any form of abuse in our schools," he added. —KBK, GMA News
