Police arrest suspect engaged in ‘sangla-droga’ modus

The Criminal Investigation and Detention Group on Friday conducted a raid on a residence in Barangay Alangilan, Batangas City and arrested a suspect allegedly involved in "sangla-droga."

According to Emil Sumangil's report on "24 Oras", the CIDG served a search warrant on the house of suspect Dan Aguarin who allegedly sold drugs in exchange for valuables.

“‘Pag walang pambayad ng droga isasangla mo yung barili mo or anything na may value sa kanya. ‘Yun din po ‘yung rason kung bakit meron siyang mga firearms,” said Police Lieutenant Colone Benedict Poblete.

The CIDG recovered a .38 revolver, .45 caliber pistol, bullets, and alleged shabu during the raid.

Aguarin is also being investigated for his alleged involvement in robbery and theft incidents.
