Jovelyn Galleno’s belongings found among skeletal remains

Personal belongings of the missing 22-year-old Jovelyn Galleno were found among skeletal remains before dawn in Barangay Sta. Lourdes in Puerto Princesa on Tuesday.

According to Junfred Calamba’s report on Super Radyo dzBB, recovered among the remains were Jovelyn's black bag, cellphone, and some identification cards.

Her loved ones have confirmed that the items belonged to Jovelyn.

Police investigators have requested a DNA test to confirm if the skeletal remains were those of Jovelyn. 

The victim’s family declined to give a comment on the matter and would wait for the results of the DNA test.

The victim disappeared on August 5 after her shift at a boutique inside a mall in Puerto Princesa City. —Mel Matthew Doctor/NB, GMA News
