8 dead in multiple vehicle collision in GenSan

At least eight people died while several others were injured after a multiple collision of vehicles along the national highway in Barangay Tinagacan, General Santos City Thursday afternoon.

According to a report on “24 Oras," the remains of the victims and some parts of the damaged vehicles were scattered on the road.

The identities of the victims have yet to be determined as of posting time.

The injured, meanwhile, were immediately brought to a hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities are still investigating the accident that started from the collision between a wing van bound for General Santos and a commuter van going to Davao.—Mel Matthew Doctor/LDF, GMA News
