Over 100 families flee flooding in Davao City

Around 100 families were forced to leave their homes in Davao City due to flooding.

According to a report on "24 Oras," the city government said deep floods affected residents of Barangay Matina Crossing after the water level at the Matina River rose due to the rains.

Several residents took shelter at the barangay hall while others chose to spend the night on the streets. The water level subsided early Wednesday.

No one was hurt in the incident, the report said.
