Landslide-affected barangays in Banaue, Ifugao receive help from GMA Kapuso Foundation
Barangays affected by landslide in Banaue, Ifugao received help from the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
According to a "24 Oras" report on Monday, among the beneficiaries were health centers in barangays Tam-an, View Point, and Amganad. They received medicine, vitamins, supplements, and first aid kits.
They were also given 124 new shovels with the help of Lotus Tools Philippines. These will be used for the clearing operations of areas still covered with mud and land.
"Ipang-gagamit din natin ['yung mga pala] sa paglilinis ng mga putik na pumasok sa mga paaralan, mga government establishments, at iba pang household," said Capt. Karol Mendoza of the Philippine Army.
("We'll also use the shovels to clean the mud that entered schools, government establishments, and households.")
The Philippine Army's 54th Infantry Battalion and 5th Infantry Division also helped dig belongings of the farmers from Barangay Tam-An.
The GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, Shopee, GCash, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
