Cebu’s 3rd most wanted nabbed for kidnapping –PNP
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has reported the arrest of a suspect dubbed as third most wanted person in Cebu due to kidnapping charges.
Police identified the 48 year-old suspect as Allan Nacorda Gemongala Sr., who was nabbed during a manhunt operation in Barangay Canduman, Mandaue City, Cebu at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
Gemongala was captured by personnel of Cebu City Police Office Station 4 by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Manuel Patalinghug of the Regional Trial Court 7 Branch 22 issued on June 26, 2014 for the “crime of kidnapping docketed under Criminal Case No. CBU-104032 with no bail recommended,” the PNP added.
He is now under the custody of the Cebu City Police Office station for documentation and proper disposition.
PNP officer-in-charge Police Lieutenant General Vicente Danao said that security forces will continue to look for the most wanted people to ensure the peace in the Philippines.
“As the PNP successfully sustain the gains of our campaign against criminality, our police operatives on the ground will continue to expedite the arrest of these most wanted criminals who pose threat to security, peace and progress of our country,” he said.—LDF, GMA News
