San Narciso town in Quezon reprises carrying of cross, crucifixion after 2 years

Residents of San Narciso in Quezon reenacted the arrest of Christ, his carrying of the cross, and his crucifixion on Good Friday.
As in other parts of the country which marked the Holy Week with traditional rites, it the first time in two years that the community held a reenactment of Christ's suffering.

Penitents who flogged their wounded and bloodied backs were among those who participated in the event in Barangay Pagdadamayan.
The crucifixion of Christ and the two criminals was reenacted by tying them to crosses at a site near Sabit beach. —NB, GMA News
