Circumcision causes 13-year-old to bleed to death in Lucena

A 13-year-old died in Lucena, Quezon after he bled out following his circumcision on Saturday.

According to a report on "24 Oras", the bleeding never stopped after the surgery done at a free circumcision event at their community.

The victim's grandfather said the boy was brought on Monday to the hospital, where he died the following dat.

The boy's family is asking for assistance so that his death may be given justice.

The free circumcision event was organized by the Scout Royale Brotherhood.

GMA News is trying to get its comment on the incident.
