YouTube videos taught fake dentist how to put dental braces, says suspect

The National Bureau of Investigation has arrested a commerce graduate who instead had been putting dental braces on clients in Bacolod City.

According to the " 24 Oras" report of GMA Regional TV One Western Visayas' Adrian Prietos, the suspect had been placing dental braces for only P3,000 to P8,000—cheaper than the usual fees for such service.

Asked how she learned to put braces on the teeth of her clients, the suspect said, "Sa YouTube man lang. Mag-DIY, DIY lang."

The suspect is facing charges for illegal practice of dentistry, a crime punishable with up to five years in prison and fines. —NB, GMA News
