Fire reaching 5th alarm hits residential area in Cavite City
A fire that reached the 5th alarm hit a residential area in Cavite City on Saturday afternoon.
Thick black smoke billowed up in the air as the fire engulfed a residential area in Barangay 22, according to a report by Rod Vega on Super Radyo DZBB.
In an update, the report said the fire reached the 5th alarm after it reached the 3rd alarm at 3:15 p.m.

The Cavite City Fire Department said they raised the third alarm at 3:15 p.m.
According to the report, the affected houses in the coastal residential area were made of light materials.
Firefighters in Cavite City as well as from Metro Manila responded to the incident.
The fire was eventually put out after firefighters on 29 fire trucks helped in the task, according to a report by Jamie Santos on 24 Oras.
The Bureau of Fire Protection is still conducting an investigation into the incident. —LBG/KG, GMA News
