4 dead, 4 injured in Masbate shooting incident

At least four people died, including an 11-year-old, while four others were injured in a shooting incident in the town of Milagros in Masbate, according to a report on "Saksi" on Monday.

The mother of the 11-year-old fatality related that the victims were at the house watching television when a motorcycle stopped in front of the house.

The riders then entered the house and proceeded to shoot at the persons inside the house, she said.

The same suspects proceeded to the nearby house of the victims' relatives and continued shooting, the mother said.

They also allegedly tried to burn the house down but the neighbors intervened.

The mother of the victim is calling for justice.

Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the motive behind the crime. -- BAP/KG, GMA News
