Dinagat Islands residents who lost homes after Odette are beneficiaries of Kapuso Foundation's feeding program
Dinagat Islands residents whose houses were damaged by Typhoon Odette were the beneficiaries of the GMA Kapuso Foundation's feeding program.
According to a "24 Oras" report, Wednesday, among those who were given meals was Cherry Corod and her 95-year-old father. They have been having a hard time since the typhoon.
"Buhay po kami pati si Tatay (pero) wala nang bubong ang bahay [namin], wala nang dingding so araw-araw po kami basa," Corod said.
Another was Anita But-ay, who emotionally called the attention of her family member, Rosalie Buncales, through the news program. She hopes to inform her of their situation.
"Wala nang bubong ang ating bahay. Nilipad ng hangin," she said.
The foundation prepared pansit, bread, and water for the residents of Barangay Rita Glenda in Basilisa. They were able to feed a total of 250 individuals.
The GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, Shopee, GCash, Pay Maya, Zalora, Mega Mart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
