Some CDO streets not passable due to Typhoon Odette
A number of streets in Cagayan de Oro City were impassable Thursday due to Typhoon Odette.
Citing the Roads and Traffic Administration of Cagayan de Oro City, GMA Regional TV One Mindanao reported that as of 8:28 a.m., the following roads are not passable in all types of vehicles due to flooding:
- Entering Apovel Subd.
- Villarin St.
- Kauswagan Highway-NHA (northbound)
- CM. Recto-Osmeña to USTP
- Osmeña Extn.
- Corrales Extn. (CU to Gaabucayan St.)
- Kagay-an Bridge
The following roads are, meanwhile, passable for moderate vehicles:
- Apovel Crossing-PN. Roa
- Kauswagan Highway going to Bulua Crossing
- Kauswagan (City Engineers Cmpd.)
- Pimentel St. (Oasis)
The following roads are passable for light vehicles:
- Camaman-an-Bolonsori
- J. R Borja (Ma. Reyna Hospital)
"No entry" streets are the following:
- Max Suniel street
- Villarin street
Eight areas remained under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 3 due to Typhoon Odette, which underwent "rapid intensification," according to state weather bureau PAGASA on Thursday morning.—Jamil Santos/AOL, GMA News
