Resort in Bulacan fears no-vaccine-no-entry will result in even fewer guests
Water parks in Bulacan have opened but have yet to see the desired number of guests arrive at their swimming pool resorts even after COVID-19 community restrictions eased.
According Jun Veneracion's report on "24 Oras", some resort owners are afraid that President Rodrigo Duterte's remarks on Tuesday that the unvaccinated should be kept from restaurants and resorts would cause even fewer patrons.
“Actually, it’s so depressing, it’s been almost two years. Sadly, it’s not as good as before,” DJ Paradise Resort Admin Manager Jade Santiago Reantaso said.
"Kapag ni-require po na kailangan bakunado lahat, baka po mas lalong makarating," she added.
Duterte in his Talk to the People earlier this week said those who refuse to be vaccinated were "a threat to public health and the safety of the general public."
“Ang mga ayaw, they should not be allowed inside public restaurants or resorts because they are a threat to public health and safety of the general public,” Duterte said. -Jiselle Casucian/NB, GMA News
