NBI nabs couple for faking swab test results in Quezon
A couple was arrested for allegedly selling falsified swab test results at an eatery in Sariaya, Quezon.
According to Bernadette Reyes' report on "24 Oras" on Wednesday, the fake swab test results were being sold for P2,600.
"Nag-i-issue sila ng RT-PCR exam without the necessary examination talaga. Ginagawa lang sa likod ng restaurant," National Bureau of Investigation-Quezon director Dominador Villanueva III said.
"Ang mga parokyano po nila ay mga van drivers na nagfe-ferry ng pasahero from Manila to Bicol, Camarines Sur, as far as Sorsosgon," he added.
A suspect, Shiela Ella, denied the allegation. She said was only tasked to print the results.
The couple will face charges for falsification of private documents. -Ma. Angelica Garcia/NB, GMA News
