Naga City placed on weekend lockdown to prevent further spread of COVID-19

The local government of Naga City placed the city under a weekend lockdown to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, according to a report of News Live on Saturday.

Security was tight at border control points, with authorities checking each vehicle if occupants follow health and safety protocols and are authorized persons outside residence.

To date, the city has 603 active COVID-19 cases.

The weekend lockdown will be lifted on Monday, September 27, at 4 a.m. —KG, GMA News
