Heavy rains cause landslide in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte


Heavy rains from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) caused a landslide in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte on Saturday morning.

The landslide occurred past 6 a.m. at the Pan-Philippine Highway, according to a report on News Live.

No one was hurt in the incident.

The Department of Public Works and Highways conducted clearing operations to allow traffic to flow.

PAGASA on Saturday said the monsoon, enhanced by Tropical Storm Huaning, is expected to bring gusty conditions over over Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Apayao, and Abra. —KG, GMA News
