Bacoor yet to receive Sputnik V vaccines, postpones giving second doses
The local government of Bacoor on Tuesday announced that it would not administer second doses of Sputnik V vaccines against COVID-19 because they have yet to be delivered.
On Facebook, the Bacoor LGU did not provide further details but said it had yet to receive Russian-made vaccines.
"The vaccines have not been delivered. Kindly wait for further announcements regarding the new schedule," the local government said on Facebook.
Philippines received 37,800 Sputnik V doses on July 10.
The first batch of 15,000 doses arrived on May 1; 15,000 on May 12; 50,000 on May 30, and 100,000 on June 11.
To date, Philippines fully inoculated 9,115,963 Filipinos which is 12.87% of targeted eligible population and 8.21% of Philippines' total population. —NB, GMA
