What you need to know when visiting Coron, Sorsogon as some tourist spots reopen amid pandemic

After months of being stuck at home due to the lockdowns, Filipinos may now explore some tourist destinations across the country.

According to a report on "24 Oras" on Thursday, here's what you need to know if you want to visit some of tourist spots.

In San Vicente and Coron in Palawan, tourists must present a negative antigen test.

Meanwhile, visiting is not encouraged in El Nido until June 20 due to the surge in cases.

Tourists from the point-to-point travel bubble, however, are allowed to visit El Nido.

In Sorsogon, beaches are open but strict health protocols must be observed by guests.

Tourist spots have started to reopen to local tourists in a bid to boost the economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 reached 1,293,687 with 1,214,454 recoveries and 22,312 deaths. -Ma. Angelica Garcia/NB, GMA News
