6 hectares of land damaged in Cavite grass fire

Six hectares of land were affected after firefighters struggled to extinguish a grass fire in Barangay Toclong, Kawit, Cavite on Monday night.

In a State of the Nation report on Tuesday, the grassland fire went on for six hours as the flames easily spread due to the hot weather.

Firemen had to connect their firehose as firetrucks could not move past a barrier near the blaze.
