Officer in viral 'lugaw' video stands by decision not to let food delivery rider pass

The barangay officer who went viral after she was shown in a video refusing to let pass a food delivery rider in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan is standing by her decision not to let him through.

According to Ivan Mayrina's report on "24 Oras", Phez Raymundo also denied that she had been removed as a barangay officer following the incident.

She said that food stores must be closed during curfew hours despite the Palace's remark that food establishments must remain unhampered amid ECQ.

However, other barangay officials in Barangay Muzon said essential services such as businesses offering food should be allowed to operate 24/7 and must not be blocked at checkpoints. --Consuelo Marquez/NB, GMA News
