Fire hits residential area in Taytay, Rizal

Fire broke out at a residential area in Sitio Sapang Godi, Barangay San Juan in Taytay, Rizal on Thursday evening.

According to a report by Corinne Catibayan on “Saksi,” the fire started past 7 a.m. and affected more than 100 families.

The Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire may have stemmed from a stove left unattended.

No one was hurt in the incident, the BFP said.

Firemen declared fire out at around 9 p.m.
