Angat, Ipo dams release water after rains

Two dams in Luzon released water on Monday, according to a report on “24 Oras.”

Angat Dam had three gates open at 2.0 meters.

Angat’s water level was at 216.13 meters, more than four meters higher than its normal high water level of 212 meters.

Ipo Dam, meanwhile, opened four gates at 2.0 meters as its water level was recorded at 100.38 meters already.

The dam’s normal high water level is 101 meters.

PAGASA said the towns of Norzagaray, Angat, Rafael, Pulilan, Plaridel, Bustos and Baliuag would be affected by Angat’s release of water.
