Neighborhood kuya killed in Tau Gamma Phi hazing, 12 nabbed

A 21-year-old student in Zamboanga City died after going through the initiation rites of a fraternity in Zamboanga City.

According to JP Sopriano's report on "24 Oras", Joselito Envidiado succumbed to injuries he suffered when he was hazed by members of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity.

Twelve individuals who participated in the hazing have been arrested by the Zamboanga City Police.

They did not give any comment regarding the incident.

The fraternity has yet to give a statement.

Envidiado, neighbors said, was well-loved in the community. He was described as a kind person, who would teach children and help them with their learning modules. -NB, GMA News
