20-year-old woman found dead in Leyte may have been strangled

A 20-year-old woman who was found dead in her home in Bato, Leyte may have been strangled, according to Lei Alviz’s report on “24 Oras Weekend.”

Police investigators initially thought that Jenina Palmeras committed suicide after her body was found on October 27.

However, her body was exhumed for an autopsy as her family did not believe that she committed suicide.

The autopsy results of the SOCO showed that she had ligature marks on the neck and that she may have died due to asphyxia by strangulation.

“Marami siyang sinasabi sa akin na may mga nag babanta na raw,” a relative said.
