Mayor Sara Duterte files for 1-week leave, designates Baste as acting mayor of Davao City

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte filed for a weeklong leave starting September 28 and designated Vice Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte as acting mayor.

Mayor Sara’s leave will be until October 5.

According to an announcement from the Office of the City Mayor of Davao, Mayor Sara will be going out of town for medical purposes.

However, she will be “continuously present online to meet deadlines for her office.” —KG, GMA News
