High-value target arrested, P14M worth of shabu seized in Negros Occ. buy-bust
Suspected shabu worth nearly P14 million was seized by authorities during a buy-bust operation in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental on Monday.
The operation also resulted in the arrest of a high-value target identified as Emmanuel "Eman" Siaboc, 31, according to the Police Regional Office VI.
Operatives from the San Carlos City Police Station, Regional Intelligence Division VI, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency VI conducted the operation at 2nd Street, St. Vincent Subdivision in Barangay 1 at 2:45 p.m.
Authorities were able to recover 2.050 kilograms of suspected shabu worth P13,940,000; P200,000 buy bust money; P100,000 boodle money; and a P500.
Siaboc's companion, identified William "Bebe" Allones, is currently at large.
The arrested suspect was brought to the San Carlos City Police Station for proper disposition.
