Batangas City records 22 new COVID-19 cases, including 4 minors

Batangas City had the most number of total COVID-19 cases in Batangas province at 662, including 22 new patients, according to a Saturday afternoon 24 Oras News Alert.

Among the new Batangas City cases were four minors, aged 6 to 12, who were exposed to a COVID-19 patient.

The city had 197 active cases, 435 recoveries, while 30 locals expired from the illness.

Meanwhile, Lemery town had six new COVID-19 cases, including two girls - a six-year-old and a 12-year-old.

Both girls were asymptomatic and were quarantined.

Lemery had 96 total COVID-19 cases with 59 recoveries.

There were three new cases in Ibaan town, including a male senior citizen who was taken to hospital.

Ibaan had 60 total cases with 50 recoveries.

Total COVID-19 cases in Batangas province was at 3,578, with 77 new and 1,935 active cases. — DVM, GMA News
