4 treasure hunters buried as tunnel collapses in Davao del Norte

Four treasure hunters were buried when a tunnel collapsed in Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte, according to an Unang Balita report on Monday.

The incident happened Sunday and rescuers were having a hard time penetrating the 60-foot-deep tunnel.

As of Sunday night there were signs that the four were still alive, authorities said.

The treasure hunters were identified as Kyle Castañares, Jeric Marquez, Dindo Cañares and Rustom Rancho. —KBK, GMA News
