Malingin Island placed under lockdown due to COVID-19 threat

Malingin Island in Bohol was placed under lockdown after four residents tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

According to a Monday 24 Oras News Alert, the four patients were infected by a confirmed case in the area.

The patients are now isolated.

So far, Bohol recorded a total of 109 confirmed COVID-19 infections including 30 active cases, 74 recoveries, and five fatalities. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/DVM, GMA News
